What you’ll be doing
This is an opportunity to play a leading role in shaping the future of current accounts during a period of significant transformation. You'll lead key integration workstreams, evaluating strategic opportunities and complex design choices to develop recommendations that balance member needs, commercial goals, operational considerations, risk and regulatory requirements. By building a detailed understanding of both Nationwide and Virgin Money current account propositions, customer journeys and servicing models, you'll help define a future-state proposition that delivers outstanding member outcomes and long-term value.
Working closely with senior stakeholders and teams across Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Customer and Communications, you'll translate complex analysis into clear, evidence-based decisions and actionable plans. You'll develop robust business cases, governance papers and recommendations, while identifying and managing risks, dependencies and key considerations throughout the integration journey. Your ability to challenge thinking, influence outcomes and bring clarity to ambiguity will be essential in driving successful change.
Alongside delivering strategic initiatives, you'll support and coach Product Managers and Assistant Product Managers, helping to strengthen product expertise, judgement and confidence across the team. Building strong relationships across the Society, you'll create momentum, alignment and focus in a fast-paced environment, ensuring successful delivery of one of the organisation's most important transformation programmes.
