About the Role
The Lead Solution Analyst within the Transformation Office's R&D team will lead the analysis and definition of business and solution requirements for a strategic Fund Services transformation program using Sigma, the cloud-native analytics and reporting product from Sigma Computing. The role will partner with business subject-matter experts, process owners, architects, developers, and project leadership to translate business needs into clear, testable requirements and practical solution designs.
Job Duties in Brief
Lead discovery workshops covering users, processes, controls, data, reporting, analytics, and integration needs
Define reporting, analytics, governance, security, and user requirements supporting the use of Sigma
Design reporting and analytics solutions that use Sigma capabilities to meet business outcomes
Own functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, data requirements, and traceability
Assess current-state processes and define scalable future-state processes
Partner with architects and developers to evaluate options, feasibility, dependencies, risks, and trade-offs
Maintain and refine the product backlog and facilitate planning, reviews, demonstrations, and requirements walkthroughs
Support solution design, testing, defect triage, implementation readiness, and acceptance decisions
Define and monitor adoption, performance, control effectiveness, and realized benefits
Mentor analysts and promote high-quality business-analysis practices

About You
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of business or solution analysis experience in an agile environment
Experience leading discovery, process analysis, solution evaluation, and stakeholder workshops
Ability to document requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, data needs, and business rules
Exceptional facilitation, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
Experience supporting testing, implementation readiness, and benefits measurement
Technical Qualifications: Assets
Experience working with Sigma or a comparable cloud analytics and reporting product
Experience gathering requirements for reporting, dashboards, analytics, data models, and semantic layers
Understanding of data governance, role-based access, data quality, and reporting controls
