Are you a dedicated and knowledgeable accounting professional seeking to make an impact in a dynamic team?
For our Accounting department in Zurich we are looking for a person who will take on the lead accountant role for Italy related group companies.

What would your role be?

• Be responsible for the full set of financial statements of our Italy related group companies.

• Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS and coordinate with the local contractors the preparation of the local GAAP financial statements incl. further reporting elements (fixed asset schedules, intercompany reports)

• Actively contribution to the consolidation process, ensuring consistency of financial data, alignment of accounting treatments, and timely submission of reporting packages

• Coordinate with external tax advisors and the internal tax team

• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the audit process of the respective entities

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial reporting

• Significant contribution to the global introduction of SAP S/4HANA for the Vontobel Group and its group companies including the design of future-oriented finance processes and controls

What are we looking for?

• At least 5-8 years of experience in finance and accounting, as well experience in international accounting standards - knowledge of Italian regulatory accounting is a strong advantage

• Higher education with specialization in finance, accounting and controlling (Diploma as Certified Expert in Accounting & Controlling, Chartered Specialist in Accounting & Financial Management or an equivalent qualification).

• Technical proficiency in financial software (SAP S/4 HANA would be a plus) combined with a high level of IT affinity

• Experience working in multi-entity or cross-border structures is highly desirable

• Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

• A high sense of responsibility, initiative and familiarity with handling sensitive data

• Structured, independent, and precise working method with a high demand for quality

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and German language. Knowledge in Italian language is a strong advantage.

• Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working.
