Strategy Practice Intro
At Lippincott, the Strategy team takes on the problems that have no clear answer but need one—the launches, pivots, and reinventions that demand original ideas and proven expertise. Our work spans three disciplines: brand strategy, marketing and customer strategy, and naming. Together with Design and Experience colleagues across the firm, we help clients navigate their biggest challenges, from rising above competitive noise, to uncovering new frontiers for growth, to crafting the signature moments that make a brand unmistakable. You'll advise leaders across markets and industries, bringing rigorous creativity and dynamic energy to every opportunity—the same spirit that's helped Lippincott shape icons, disruptors, and category-creators since 1943.
Role Overview
As a Senior Consultant, you turn evidence into ideas. You’ll deeply understand a client’s unique situation and ambition—gathering and synthesizing research, business context, and competitive dynamics—and translate that insight into the early thinking that shapes your team’s recommendations. You’ll contribute directly to both the strategic content and the delivery of the work, bringing rigorous creativity to every step and partnering closely with designers and senior strategists to shape thoughtful solutions across brand positioning, architecture, marketing, customer experience, and more. It’s a chance to learn the craft of brand-building from some of the best in the field, with direct exposure to senior leaders and a real voice in the room.
What You’ll Do
Gather, organize, and synthesize research on client strategy, industry dynamics, and customer insight to surface what matters
Conduct in-depth interviews with client stakeholders and leadership
Support analysis of quantitative and qualitative research, from discrete choice modeling to focus groups
Translate findings into compelling content, narratives, and points of view
Collaborate with consultants and designers to pressure-test ideas and sharpen thinking
Contribute to the storyline and development of client presentations
Apply Lippincott frameworks and methodologies to new and unfamiliar problems
Support new business efforts by helping shape proposal content
What Makes You a Great Candidate
At least 3 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate or brand strategy, brand management, or innovation
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Strong creative and analytical instincts, with the ability to connect new problems to past experience
Excellent presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills — comfortable communicating at every level, internally and with clients
A rigorous, methodical approach paired with the flexibility to adapt it
A collaborative mindset and a genuine appetite for feedback and growth
Openness to travel as needed
A desire to build and learn side-by-side with your teams.

Lippincott is a global brand, marketing, and experience consultancy. Since 1943, we’ve helped ambitious leaders find the beautiful answers hiding inside their toughest challenges, turning them into brands and ideas that live in the real world and create lasting business value. Who We Are, Together
We promote a culture of collaboration and performance through our three core values:
Demanding better. Our pioneering spirit compels us to reach higher — we expect more of ourselves and each other. We also recognize the above-and-beyond dedication of our colleagues, demonstrating gratitude and offering support in our everyday actions.
Wide open. Unique perspectives, diverse personal experiences, and untapped ideas fuel our craft. We celebrate debate, discussion, disagreement, and feedback, opening ourselves to new ways of thinking and doing.
Yes, and! We champion one another and embrace optimism. We act with passion, intention, and goodwill — building on and elevating our combined contributions, and sharing in our collective success.
In our pursuit to produce meaningful change, we want our people to feel heard, respected and valued through our words and actions – goals we can only achieve with a sustained commitment to inclusion and belonging. We seek the best and brightest ideas from a variety of backgrounds and experiences because we know that’s what it takes to continuously push the boundaries, solve our clients’ most complex challenges, and foster an inspiring culture of rigorous creativity. We celebrate and leverage our differences and our commonalities so everyone feels safe, supported and encouraged to be wide open, to say “yes, and!” and to demand better of ourselves and one another. We aspire to be positive role models for inclusion at an individual level, corporate level, and societal level.
This role follows a hybrid work schedule, with new hires expected to work from the office 3 days per week for their first 6 months. After 6 months, employees have the flexibility to choose between 2 and 3 days per week in the office.
