GENERAL PURPOSE SUMMARY Builds administrative, technical and business development skills in commercial lending by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Develops a working knowledge of commercial lending through on-the-job training, mentoring and participation in a schedule of job specific training including cash flow analysis, collateral evaluation, business development, portfolio management, general underwriting, etc. Becomes familiar with bank policies and procedures, and industry practices and regulations through reading technical and procedural manuals, and reports and publications related to lending and the banking industry. Represents the bank in the community in order to develop and promote additional business. Completes special projects assigned by supervisor. Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor. COMPLIANCE EXPECTATIONS Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and complete all compliance training on time. Knowledgeable of and comply with bank policies, procedures, laws and regulations that apply to you and your job. Maintain customer confidence and protect the bank’s operations by you and your delegates by identifying and protecting confidential information.
