About the Role

As Manager, B&PB Compliance – Products & Digital, you will provide compliance support and oversight across a portfolio that sits at the intersection of banking, technology and customer experience. You will partner closely with product, digital and business teams to ensure compliance obligations are effectively managed and embedded into decision-making. You will play a key role in providing practical compliance advice, identifying emerging regulatory risks, supporting strategic initiatives and helping deliver strong customer outcomes.
As Manager, B&PB Compliance – Private Banking, you will provide trusted compliance advice and oversight across ANZ's Private Banking business. You will partner with business leaders and risk stakeholders to support effective compliance risk management, provide insights on emerging risks, and help ensure compliance obligations are understood and managed effectively. This is a highly collaborative role that combines strategic thinking, regulatory insight and stakeholder engagement.

What will your day look like?
- Provide risk-based review and challenge of first line activities.
- Advise on compliance implications of business initiatives.
- Support regulatory change implementation and emerging risk assessments.
- Provide compliance insights on risk themes.
- Prepare reports, presentations and briefing materials for governance forums.
- Support engagement with internal and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Conduct targeted reviews and risk assessments across key initiatives.
- Act as a subject matter expert on compliance management frameworks and policies.
- Influence business decisions through practical, commercially focused compliance advice.
- Drive a strong compliance culture across Line 1 teams.
What will you bring?
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Significant experience (7+ years’) in compliance, risk, audit or legal roles within financial services.
- Knowledge of regulatory obligations impacting banking products and services.
- Experience supporting business transformation or regulatory change.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A practical and commercially focused approach to risk management.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities.
