Join CRE Sales Optimization to help drive market growth, improve sales productivity, and support product expansion. You’ll work across business, sales, data, product, technology, and controls to turn complexity into clear, measurable outcomes. You’ll strengthen the CRE data operating model and performance visibility so leaders have trusted, timely insight into pipeline and client engagement.

As a Market and Product Expansion Vice President in CRE, you will be accountable for executing a long-term strategy that enables market growth, improves sales productivity, and supports product expansion. This role sits at the intersection of business leadership, sales, data management, product, technology, and controls, with a mandate to create clarity from complexity and deliver outcomes through influence. This role reports to the Head of CRE Sales Optimization with close alignment to the Head of CRE Data Strategy. You will partner to develop and institutionalize the CRE data operating model—defining standards, ownership, controls, and adoption mechanisms—while ensuring data products and insights are trusted, repeatable, and decision-grade. You will also drive a disciplined approach to performance management by defining KPI frameworks and ensuring executive stakeholders have timely, self-serve visibility into pipeline, performance, and client engagement.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as the in-business advocate for CRE data strategy – drive the roadmap aligned to business priorities, including market expansion, product growth, and sales enablement.

  • Help establish and run the CRE data management operating model, including data governance, stewardship, controls, issue management, and escalation paths across multiple lines of business.

  • Lead business alignment on key terms: canonical definitions, allowable values, and what should be considered the “golden source” at key points in the CRE lifecycle.

  • Translate business feedback and pain points into actionable input for partners across product, technology, and project management to deliver products that improve sales effectiveness, client targeting and executive decision making.

  • Define and enforce data standards (definitions, system connectivity, credit & profitability hierarchies) to ensure consistency across CRM, pipeline reporting, performance dashboards, and client analytics.

  • Assist in the integration of CRE data sources, across internal platforms, firmwide datasets, and third-party providers, into a governed, usable form for execution.

  • Create and monitor a disciplined KPI and performance management framework for CRE expansion initiatives, including standardized reporting, leading indicators, and executive-ready scorecards that tie data outputs to commercial outcomes.

  • Ensure regulatory readiness and control alignment by embedding data and reporting considerations into product testing, governance, and release processes; partner with risk and compliance stakeholders to support evidence, traceability, and audit outcomes.

  • Identify structural inefficiencies across data and reporting workflows and drive sustainable process redesign, automation, and simplification—prioritizing controls, scalability, and user adoption.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate, with strong understanding of CRE markets and debt products (e.g., Bank, Life Cos, Agency, CMBS, alternative lenders)

  • Proven leadership in data management and data strategy, including governance, quality management, controls, and operating model implementation in a regulated environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with heads of business and senior stakeholders, translating commercial priorities into a delivery roadmap with clear outcomes, milestones, and adoption targets.

  • Strong analytical and financial modeling capability, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Executive communication skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including the ability to present complex topics clearly to drive decisions.

  • Working knowledge of risk management, controls, governance processes, and regulatory expectations relevant to product expansion and data integrity.

  • Track record of leading cross-functional delivery with multiple partners, including requirements definition, prioritization trade-offs, and change adoption.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in real estate investment banking, commercial brokerage, real estate private equity, or a closely related CRE advisory or principal investing role.

  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing KPI frameworks, performance scorecards, and self-serve analytics for sales and client outcomes.

  • Experience working across CRM and pipeline reporting ecosystems, including standardized definitions, process controls, and adoption programs.

  • Working knowledge of data governance and data use alignment practices in regulated environments (decisioning, escalation paths, and sustainable controls)
