Own the end-to-end commercialization and go-to-market strategy for mass-volume, real-time payment rails—mobilizing cross-functional teams to accelerate pipeline velocity, client activation, adoption, and revenue for large multinational treasury clients.
As a Head of Mass Volume Payments Commercialization & Go-to-Market, you will own the commercialization strategy and GTM execution to drive measurable growth in acquisition, activation, adoption, and revenue—particularly across RTP/real-time payments and adjacent high-volume payment rails. As the single-threaded commercial owner, you will set the vision and deliver a multi-quarter plan, partnering across Product, Engineering, Sales/Coverage, Implementation, Operations, Risk/Controls, Legal, Finance, and Marketing to bring scalable, client-ready capabilities to market for large, multinational treasury organizations. You will increase pipeline velocity through disciplined segmentation, targeting, funnel management, and conversion lifecycle execution, while improving client ease of doing business by strengthening readiness, enablement, launch execution, and end-to-end activation experiences.
Job responsibilities
- Own end-to-end commercialization strategy and go-to-market execution for Mass Volume Payments (RTP, ACH, Push to Card, Push to Wallet, Zelle, Pay by Bank/Open Banking, Prepaid Card, etc.), delivering growth, adoption, and revenue outcomes
- Set and run a multi-quarter commercialization plan (OKRs, priorities, milestones) aligned to Payments leadership objectives
- Build and operate the pipeline acceleration engine to increase velocity (segmentation, targeting, funnel management, win/loss, conversion lifecycle)
- Lead packaging, positioning, and pricing/packaging inputs (hypothesis-driven bundling, value props, readiness to sell and deliver)
- Drive cross-functional execution as the single-threaded commercial owner across Product, Tech, Sales/Coverage, Implementation, Operations, Risk/Controls, Legal, Finance, and Marketing
- Establish and run Voice of Customer to improve client ease of doing business (intake, prioritization, feedback loops, closure of gaps)
- Define and track performance metrics and operating insights (adoption, volume/run-rate, activation time, churn, segment performance, NPS/CSAT proxies) and translate into actions
- Deliver sales enablement for Coverage and product specialists (narratives, competitive positioning, objection handling, playbooks, training)
- Plan and execute GTM launches (market fit, pilots, rollout plans, internal/client communications) with post-launch performance tracking
- Represent the business in client engagements and senior governance (client discussions/roundtables, industry forums, cross-LOB alignment) while ensuring execution meets Risk/Controls expectations
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years of relevant experience in strategy, business development, management consulting, or payments/treasury product commercialization with a proven track record of building and running high performing teams
- Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable growth outcomes (pipeline → activation → scaled volume) in a complex, matrixed organization
- Strong capability translating client needs into product requirements and influencing roadmaps without direct engineering ownership
- Executive-level communication skills (crisp storytelling, metrics-driven updates, decision-oriented leadership)
- Strategic and hands-on operator: able to design strategy and run execution detail (cadence, artifacts, follow-ups)
- Strong cross-functional partnership and leadership skills: aligns stakeholders, resolves tradeoffs, drives delivery through ambiguity
