Job Description

* Identify and develop new business opportunities across various segments, including corporate, commercial, and institutional clients.
* Proactively engage with potential clients to understand their financial needs and propose tailored banking solutions, including loans, trade finance, cash management, and treasury products.
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
* Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, demonstrating the value proposition of UOB Malaysia's offerings.
* Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including product specialists, credit risk, and legal teams, to structure and deliver comprehensive financial solutions.
* Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall profitability and growth of the bank.
* Stay updated on industry regulations, market developments, and best practices in business development.
* Represent UOB Malaysia at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
* Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market intelligence for management review.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
* Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship management within the banking or financial services industry, preferably in Malaysia.
* Strong understanding of banking products and services, including corporate lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury.
* Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
* Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships at all levels.
* Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a strong work ethic.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. Proficiency in other local languages is an advantage.
* Possession of relevant industry certifications (e.g., FIMM, PCE) is a plus.
