Company:

Marsh

Description:

Senior Onsite Risk Analyst

Lear is seeking a Senior Onsite Risk Analyst to support its global risk and program marketing stakeholders with advanced analytics, strategic insight, and proactive decision support. This individual will act as a trusted partner to the Global Director and cross-functional leaders, translating complex data into actionable recommendations that inform business decisions, strengthen governance, and improve risk outcomes.

The ideal candidate will bring 5–8 years of progressive experience in analytics, risk, finance, consulting, operations, or a related field, along with strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. While insurance experience is not required, the successful candidate must be able to quickly understand business drivers, identify trends and exposures, and develop scalable analytical solutions that support enterprise decision-making.

This role is expected to be onsite at Lear HQ three or more core days per week, with flexibility to align to business needs. Occasional Marsh-supported travel to New York City and Chicago may be required in support of Lear Program Marketing activities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analytics and Insight Development- Lead the development of dashboards, analyses, and visual tools that provide clear, timely, and strategic visibility into risk trends, exposures, and performance indicators for senior stakeholders.
  • Executive Reporting- Prepare high-quality recurring and ad hoc reporting for the Global Director and other leadership stakeholders, synthesizing findings into concise insights, implications, and recommended actions.
  • Cross-Functional Business Partnership- Partner closely with finance, compliance, operations, and other business functions to understand priorities, assess data needs, and deliver analytical support that enables informed decision-making.
  • Risk Quantification and Modeling- Contribute to the design, refinement, and application of risk models and scenario analyses to quantify potential exposures, business impacts, and probability-based outcomes.
  • Independent Problem Solving- Own ad hoc analyses and special projects from scoping through delivery, applying sound judgment to ambiguous requests and proactively identifying follow-up opportunities.
  • Data Governance and Controls- Help maintain strong data governance practices, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, security, and integrity of risk-related data and reporting outputs.
  • Process and Methodology Improvement- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, improve analytical methods, automate recurring workflows, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the risk analytics function.
  • Market and Trend Awareness- Stay informed on emerging tools, analytical techniques, and industry developments in risk management, using external perspectives to strengthen internal capabilities and challenge existing approaches where appropriate.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 5–8 years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills
  • Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
  • Able to operate strategically while still executing at a detailed level
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence through data and insight
  • Experience with dashboarding, reporting, modeling, or business intelligence tools preferred

Success in This Role Will Look Like
