As a Payment Lifecycle Specialist IV within Payments Operations, you will play a crucial role in the smooth transfer of funds between various parties. Working under regular supervision, you will help maintain our reputation for excellent service and secure financial transactions. Your responsibilities will include payment processing across various products, such as the transfer of funds between financial institutions, cardholders, merchants, corporate and retail clients, and the reconciliation of purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. This may involve sanctions screening, payment investigations, funds control, exception processing, resolving reconciliation breaks, and invoicing or cash management activities.

Job responsibilities
  • Partner with the manager to define best practices for data management, analysis, and visualization.
  • Collect data, perform analysis, and produce reports that translate findings into actionable stakeholder insights.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to align initiatives and reporting with business objectives.
  • Interpret data using statistical techniques and deliver ongoing management reporting.
  • Acquire data from primary and secondary sources while maintaining databases and data systems.
  • Identify new process improvement opportunities through trend, root-cause, and workflow analysis.
  • Monitor MIS data and drive timely closure of issues and exceptions.
  • Meet SLAs by completing work items on time and prioritizing effectively.
  • Process investigations and transactions in line with documented procedures and control requirements.
  • Execute manual fund and wire transfer instructions across global currencies and validate accuracy and completeness.
  • Support team resilience by training colleagues, covering production back-ups, rotating functions, and resolving funds transfer inquiries through research and manual entries with minimal supervision.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Graduate with good academic record.
  • Experience and a working knowledge of various aspects of International Payment Processing Operations. 
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good Interpersonal skills to be able to communicate internally or externally and at all levels and should be a team player.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 2 years of experience in a back-office operations of a reputed foreign bank or it’s processing arm/private sector bank/public sector bank as a supervisor would be beneficial.
  • Preferred working experience as a data analyst
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing large datasets (Excel, etc.)
  • Exposure to AI-enabled tools and willingness to adopt emerging technologies that support process improvement and operational excellence
