This role will be based in Mumbai and is a hire within the global Client Clearing Financing & Analytics team. The successful candidate will provide analytical and operational support across the team's core responsibilities, including financing management, capital optimization, client profitability analysis, liquidity analytics, and clearinghouse monitoring.
The role will develop expertise in derivatives clearing economics while helping maintain critical business reporting, performing quantitative analysis, identifying commercial opportunities, and contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives. The role offers exposure to a broad range of stakeholders and provides a strong foundation for growth within a highly analytical and commercial function.

What you’ll do in the role:
Produce and maintain recurring reporting and analytics related to client clearing financing, profitability, balance sheet usage, capital consumption, liquidity impacts, and clearinghouse activity.
Support financing strategy execution through analysis of client balances, financing charges, returns, and pricing inputs, helping identify opportunities to improve client profitability and resource utilization.
Perform financial and business performance analysis, including investigating drivers of financing revenue, balances, returns, and variance trends across clients, products, and regions.
Assist with capital and balance sheet optimization initiatives by gathering data, conducting quantitative analysis, and preparing management reporting related to leverage, risk-weighted assets, and other regulatory capital metrics.
Support CCP concentration margin management processes by monitoring concentration exposures, maintaining analytics, investigating changes, and assisting with client remediation tracking.
Produce liquidity and funding analytics to help quantify resource consumption and identify opportunities for optimization across the clearing business.
Respond to ad-hoc business requests from senior team members and stakeholders by performing data analysis, validating results, and delivering clear and actionable insights.
Partner with Technology and Strats teams to improve reporting infrastructure, automate manual processes, enhance data quality, and increase scalability of team deliverables.
Contribute to the maintenance of strong controls, data governance practices, and documentation standards across team processes and reporting.
Support global business initiatives and special projects as priorities evolve across the derivatives clearing landscape.
What you’ll bring to the role:
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain analytical findings.
Comfortable working with large datasets and identifying key business insights.
Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools; experience with SQL, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools is advantageous.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn complex financial products and market structures.
Strong team player with a collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across regions and functions.
Self-motivated with the ability to operate independently while escalating issues appropriately.
Strong organizational skills and disciplined approach to risk and controls.
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
2-5 years of experience in financial services, analytics, risk management, finance, treasury, operations, or capital markets.
Knowledge of listed derivatives, cleared OTC products, prime brokerage, or clearing services is preferred but not required.
Experience working with financial analysis, business reporting, regulatory capital, liquidity metrics, or profitability analytics is advantageous.
Experience using data visualization, reporting, or workflow automation tools is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into clear business recommendations.
