We’re looking for a Technical Accountant to join our team where you will be working hand-in-hand with our skilled underwriters, you’ll provide essential support for administrative activities tied to the underwriting process.

You will take ownership of a portfolio and play a critical role in ensuring its operational excellence:

  • Own your portfolio : manage end-to-end administration of reinsurance contracts, from data capture to cash flow management 
  • Drive accuracy & insight : process accounts and claims, investigate discrepancies, and deliver high-quality reporting and analysis 
  • Partner with Underwriters : challenge, support and ensure contractual clarity and operational efficiency 
  • Manage cash flow – oversee payments, balances and client accounts to ensure financial integrity  
  • Ensure control & compliance – perform ICS controls, sanctions checks, and maintain audit-ready documentation  
  • Enhance operations – identify improvements, streamline processes and contribute to a high-performing platform

 

We are ideally looking for someone who has the following experience

 

  • Experience in re/insurance operations, accounting, or underwriting support (c.2+ years)
  • Strong technical capability, particularly advanced Excel (Power Query) 
  • Exposure to data tools (Business Objects, Power BI, Tableau) is a plus

  • Solid understanding of the reinsurance lifecycle and processes
