Key duties and responsibilities

  • Assist to price reinsurance transactions ;
  • Collaborate closely with actuaries and the underwriting team;
  • Provide underwriting with reports on pricing and expected profitability;
  • Complete studies to improve pricing parameters and evaluate the profitability of various segments of business;
  • Assure appropriate utilisation of pricing and evaluation tools;
  • All other miscellaneous responsibilities as required by management;

Duration

  • October 2026 for a period of 6 months

Experience: 

  • Previous internship experience in insurance preferred but not essential
  • Strong interest to pursue a career in the actuarial field

Personal Competencies:

  • Strong pragmatic problem solving capabilities
  • Logical, organised and attentive
  • Team spirit
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin

Digital Competencies:

  • Practical experience in MS Excel VBA, Powerpoint, and Databases strongly preferred
