We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMB Global Benefits Management team. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne. This role will require you to work with both our, and our client's network of overseas offices with hybrid working arrangements available.
This is a senior opportunity to help shape and grow a developing team supporting multinational clients across Asia and Pacific. You will lead complex client relationships, provide strategic guidance on employee health and benefits, and contribute to the direction of client service, team development and business growth. The role suits someone who can operate with judgement, influence senior stakeholders and bring a commercial, solutions-focused approach.
We will count on you to:
- Lead a portfolio of multinational clients as the primary client relationship contact
- Provide strategic advice on: employee health and benefits, global benefits programme design including global benefits financing advice (on pooling / captives) and client service issues
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships, client escalations and delivery across internal and external teams
- Review renewal documents, claims trends and market information to support informed client decisions
- Contribute to business expansion activity, client onboarding and the development of account strategies
- Shape team ways of working, mentor junior colleagues and support continuous improvement
- Enhance our ability to sell additional health and wellbeing projects delivered by our strongly connected consulting team (e.g. Flexible benefits, onsite clinics, wellness, retirement, communication) through understanding the health market
- Work autonomously and flexibly within a geographically diverse team across multiple time zones
- Support the commercial team's pursuit of new clients
What you need to have:
- Advanced industry experience
- Proven experience managing complex client relationships and senior stakeholder expectations
- A demonstrable ability to support new and expanded growth targets
- Experience supporting business development and client growth activity
- Well-developed project management, organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong self-starter, fast learner, quality conscious, committed to deadlines
- Demonstrated analytical capability with confidence using MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Relevant tertiary degree
What makes you stand out:
- Experience leading operational or process improvement initiatives. Applicants who can demonstrate strong AI literacy will be highly regarded
- Experience in broking (health/life/disability insurances), multinational insurance program management or rewards & benefits consulting experience will be highly regarded
- Exposure to regional or global client environments across borders
- A deep understanding of people risks, rewards & benefits consulting, benefits technology or healthcare will be highly regarded
- Applicants who are ANZIIF Tier 1 compliant will be highly regarded
