The Role

The Product & Technology Learning Lead is responsible for building and scaling the learning ecosystem that enables Product & Technology employees to ramp quickly, adapt continuously, and perform at their highest level. This role owns the strategy, design, execution, and evolution of onboarding and ongoing education, while serving as the central learning partner for the Product & Technology organizations.

Working closely with Engineering leaders, Product, Security, IT, HR, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Product & Technology Learning Lead identifies organizational capability gaps, develops scalable learning solutions, and ensures employees have the knowledge and resources they need as the business, tools, and priorities evolve.

This is a strategic role that combines learning strategy, program management, instructional design, change enablement, stakeholder consulting, and measurement to improve organizational effectiveness.

What You’ll Do:

Product & Technology Onboarding Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Product & Technology onboarding across all product, engineering and technical functions.
  • Continuously evolve onboarding to reflect organizational growth, structural changes, new technologies, development process changes and business priorities.
  • Develop scalable onboarding experiences that reduce time-to-productivity while creating a consistent new hire experience.
  • Partner with Product and Technology leadership to define role-specific learning paths and success milestones.
  • Manage the onboarding curriculum, facilitator network, documentation, and program operations.
  • Analyze onboarding outcomes and use data to improve the experience over time.

Product & Technology Learning & Enablement

  • Serve as the learning partner for the Product & Technology organizations, consulting with leaders on capability development and performance needs.
  • Design and deliver learning solutions that support new tools, platforms, processes, and organizational initiatives, including the company’s transition to a new squad operating model.
  • Build repeatable enablement programs for technology changes, system implementations, process improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Create learning journeys that support employees throughout their lifecycle, not just during onboarding.
  • Develop scalable resources including self-service content, workshops, playbooks, job aids, and digital learning.

Strategic Consulting & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Partner with senior Product and Technology leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into learning strategies.
  • Conduct learning needs analyses to identify capability gaps and recommend high-impact solutions.
  • Align learning initiatives with organizational objectives, workforce planning, and employee experience.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on learning, enablement, and change management best practices.

Change Enablement

  • Lead learning strategies that accompany organizational transformation, technology implementations, and process changes.
  • Ensure employees receive timely, effective education whenever new systems, workflows, or operating models are introduced.
  • Coordinate communication, learning, and adoption activities to maximize successful change adoption.
  • Support leaders through change by developing manager enablement resources and communication plans.

Learning Operations & Program Management

  • Establish governance, operating rhythms, and processes for Product & Technology learning programs.
  • Manage learning calendars, content lifecycle, stakeholder communications, and vendor relationships as needed.
  • Maintain learning assets to ensure content remains accurate and relevant.
  • Prioritize new requests and balance strategic initiatives with ongoing operational support.

Measurement & Business Impact

  • Define success metrics for onboarding and learning initiatives.
  • Measure program effectiveness through learner feedback, adoption metrics, time-to-productivity, engagement, and business outcomes.
  • Continuously improve programs using qualitative and quantitative data.

What You’ll Need

  • 9+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Learning Strategy, Organizational Development, or Enablement.
  • Experience supporting Technology, Product, or Engineering organizations.
  • Demonstrated success building learning programs from the ground up.
  • Expertise in instructional design, adult learning principles, and learning technologies.
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible learning experiences.

Preferred:

  • Experience with AI enablement initiatives.
  • Experience with change management and technology adoption initiatives.
  • Familiarity with engineering development practices and modern technology organizations.
