As a Product Manager within the Acquisition Squad in Consumer Spending, you'll play an important role in shaping how new customers discover, access and engage with our Credit Card and Buy Now, Pay Later products. You'll help deliver acquisition strategies that create simple, compelling customer experiences while driving sustainable growth and strong commercial outcomes for the Bank.

Reporting to the Product Lead, Acquisition, you'll join a collaborative team focused on delivering acquisition strategies and customer experiences that support growth across our Consumer Spending portfolio.
Working closely with stakeholders across Risk, Finance, Marketing, Compliance, Technology and frontline teams, you'll help identify opportunities, solve complex problems and deliver initiatives that create value for both customers and the Bank.
Your impact
You will:
- Contribute to the development and delivery of the squad's strategic roadmap, prioritising initiatives that drive customer and commercial outcomes.
- Design, model and evaluate acquisition offers across Credit Cards and Buy Now, Pay Later products, balancing customer value, profitability and risk considerations.
- Identify and deliver opportunities to improve acquisition performance across the end-to-end customer journey.
- Analyse customer behaviour and acquisition performance data to uncover insights, trends and opportunities.
- Translate data-driven insights into recommendations and actions that improve customer experiences and conversion outcomes.
- Partner with Risk, Finance, Marketing, Compliance, Technology and frontline teams to deliver acquisition initiatives and achieve shared business objectives.
- Manage acquisition-related escalations, identifying root causes and driving timely customer-focused resolutions.
- Proactively identify and manage risks across the acquisition portfolio through strong governance, controls and issue management practices.

Bring a strong customer mindset, commercial curiosity and a passion for solving problems. You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, using insights and data to influence decisions while building strong relationships across a broad stakeholder group.
You'll ideally demonstrate:
- Experience in product management, customer acquisition, commercial strategy or a related discipline.
- A customer and commercial mindset with the ability to balance customer needs and business objectives.
- Strong analytical capabilities and experience using data and insights to support decision making and prioritisation.
- Experience identifying opportunities, solving problems and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across diverse teams.
- Experience preparing recommendations, business cases or papers for senior stakeholders.
- A proactive risk mindset with the confidence to identify, assess and manage risks in a dynamic environment.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline are desirable but not essential
