  • Why On-site? This is a highly collaborative position involving regular face-to-face workshops and close team interaction, making in-office presence essential.

What’s the role?

You’ll be joining Everyday Banking where the work you do shapes how millions of customers experience everyday banking. 

This role reports to the Chief Product Owner, and you’ll set the product vision, strategy and roadmap for complex, high-priority initiatives. You’ll have end-to-end accountability for turning customer and business needs into clear priorities and measurable outcomes.

You’ll own and prioritise the product backlog, make informed trade-offs and provide clear direction to multidisciplinary delivery teams. Working closely with Product, Digital, Technology, Operations, Risk and external partners, you’ll ensure solutions are customer-led, commercially sound and compliant by design.

You’ll build and maintain initiative business cases and delivery roadmaps, define product objectives and success measures, and translate complex requirements into clear features, user stories and acceptance criteria. You’ll manage product, delivery, risk and control considerations throughout the product lifecycle, using customer insights, performance data and cohort analysis to guide decisions.

As a senior member of the team, you’ll influence senior stakeholders and governance forums, build alignment around priorities and resolve competing demands. You’ll give delivery teams clear direction, remove ambiguity and enable timely decisions that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes

What do I need?

  • Strong product management experience within banking or financial services, 
  • Proven experience working as a Service/Product Owner in an Agile environment 
  • Proven ability to partner with both business and delivery stakeholders, acting as a bridge between them. 
  • Demonstrated track record delivering complex initiatives in a fast‑paced environment. 
  • Experience documenting business strategy and papers to support large‑scale change initiatives. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business and technology
