Mō te tūranga - About the role

As our Program Manager – Cyber Technology, you will play a leading role in shaping and delivering a significant, multi-year programme that continuously enhances ANZ's cyber security capability and resilience. Working across a broad range of technology and business teams, you'll bring people together around a shared vision, helping to drive meaningful improvements that reduce cyber risk and support the long-term security of our customers, colleagues and organisation.

This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence at every level of the bank. You'll provide leadership across programme governance, planning, delivery and reporting, while ensuring work remains connected, coordinated and focused on delivering measurable outcomes. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on programme leadership, you'll help guide complex initiatives from concept through to successful delivery, creating lasting impact across ANZ's technology landscape.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading the delivery of ANZ's Cyber Technology Program, ensuring initiatives remain aligned to strategic priorities, cyber security objectives and risk outcomes.
• Bringing together technology, security, risk and business stakeholders to build alignment, manage dependencies and drive shared ownership of programme success.
• Providing governance, executive reporting and actionable insights that support informed decision-making and programme oversight.
• Proactively managing risks, issues and delivery challenges while maintaining momentum across multiple workstreams and delivery partners.
• Embedding sustainable cyber security capabilities, controls and ways of working that strengthen resilience, reduce risk and deliver long-term value.

To thrive and excel in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

• Experience leading complex technology, cyber security or transformation programmes within large organisations.
• The ability to navigate competing priorities, manage dependencies and keep delivery on track in fast-paced environments.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with a proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and bring people together to achieve shared outcomes.
• An understanding of cyber security, risk management and resilience practices, with the ability to connect technical delivery to business outcomes.
• Experience working collaboratively across technology, security, risk and business teams, as well as external partners.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into meaningful insights for a range of audiences.
