What you’ll be doing
As a QA Analyst, you will work with a cross-disciplinary team to brainstorm, coordinate, test and publish web content changes for releases across digital platforms. You will adhere to CIBC-defined standards and compliance rules, including Accessibility, while ensuring client expectations and SLAs are met.

How you’ll succeed
- QA support – Execute test cases, raise and re-test defects, provide status updates and escalate risks to the Sr. QA Analyst. Provide appropriate sign-offs and release builds to staging environments and for deployment to production. Test published content via front end and provide sign offs, including outside of regular office hours.
- Communication and problem solving – Effectively work with your team to ensure quality standards are understood and adhered to with minimum supervision. Provide clear and timely analysis and updates to your lead and QA Manager. Continuously review schedule to confirm SLAs are met and problems resolved.
- Accountability – Detail oriented, and committed to completing work on time and accurately according to approved processes. Record and escalate issues and outages of business applications and processes to the Sr. QA Analyst or appropriate team member for timely resolution. Continuously provide input to team for improvements to processes and documentation.

- You can demonstrate experience in Quality Assurance. A Degree in Computer Science or related discipline as well as ISTQB Foundation Level certification is preferred, or applicable work experience at a financial institution.
- You have strong knowledge of defect-tracking software (JIRA or HP Quality Center), Content Management Systems (CMS), W3C standards, Windows and MacOS interface standards, and Accessibility requirements testing (WCAG2.0).
