Key Responsibilities
Lead the regional team of quant traders and technology developers to design and build complex electronic trading systems, pricing and risk management algorithms and client facing trading technology across Singapore, Sydney and Hong Kong
Responsible for managing e-spot risk in APAC time zone, across GFX, GEM and Metals. Monitoring and managing positions, monitoring liquidity parameters and ensuring our e-spot offering aligns to market conditions across all electronic assets traded
Coordination of Fwd pricing and analytics across the region
Participate in continuous improvement of spot pricing engines, hedging models and predictive analytics to drive consistency where possible and manage for individual market nuances
Work with the technology developers to ensure our platform offering remains best-in-class
Work with partners in second line around proper monitoring and control framework understanding regulatory concerns specific to the Asian assets
Partner with FXEA, sales and structuring teams to market our e-offering and optimize volumes and revenue per client
Drive revenue and market share growth in the region with clear targets and metrics for success
Working within the linear voice desk team you will be given the opportunity to provide cross-coverage on linear voice products across a wide range of currencies and products, providing competitive pricing for clients in collaboration with traders in other locations
Developing electronic trading systems for emerging electronic assets in particular China and onshore emerging markets currencies
Enhancing our orders offering across the full spectrum of electronic products including client facing algo development
Skills and Experience
Minimum 10 years of prior work experience in Electronic Trading
Experience of managing the market risk of an electronic platform
Experience in e book running with strong technical experience in quant research including high frequency pricing models, yield monetisation, alpha research
A thorough knowledge of pricing engines and hedging models used in electronic trading
In-depth knowledge of the local spot, onshore and forward Asia Market
Commercial focus, ability to take initiatives, and skills to solve complex business problems
Ability to articulate ideas confidently and concisely.
Team Player
Strong data analysis background including kdb/q database design, python and AI tools
Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
