Responsibilities
- Institutionalize CRE team’s portfolio management and asset management process
- Build and maintain a cloud-based portfolio management platform to process large datasets and support investment decisions
- Develop data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools that provide real-time portfolio analytics
- Create quantitative investment models for portfolio construction, risk management, and performance analysis
- Collaborate with Investment, Finance, Risk, IT teams and third-party service providers to ensure system integration and data accuracy
- Utilize data-driven insights to assess investment performance and inform strategy adjustments
- Secondarily, support the investment and asset management teams in analyzing certain investment opportunities across the capital structure as the need arises
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from a top-tier university
- 3-10 years of experience in software development or quantitative finance roles preferred
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages; experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) required
- Proficiency in database technologies and data management tools (SQL, NoSQL, Spark)
- Experience building financial applications, dashboards, or analytics platforms
- Possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Analytically strong and excellent attention to details
The salary range for this role is $125,000-$150,000 in base pay (exclusive of bonus or benefits above and beyond the base pay). Base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, location, skills, training, certifications, and education, and in addition we will also consider internal equity and market data. We do not anticipate that candidates hired will begin at the top of the range however, from time to time, it may occur on a case by case basis.
