Job Description
Reporting to the Regional Head of Finance Controlling, the Regional Financial Controller ensures accurate financial reporting and strong financial governance across multiple countries and legal entities, acting as a key business partner to both regional and local finance teams. The role oversees closing, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities while driving process standardization, continuous improvement across the region.
A. Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the monthly, quarterly, budget and business planning processes across the region.
- Analyze financial results and identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and variances against budget and forecast.
- Work closely with local CFOs and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Support the Regional CFO and Head of Controlling with financial analysis and business insights.
- Monitor budget performance and follow up on action plans to address deviations.
B. Reporting & Business Support
- Prepare regional financial reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
- Consolidate and validate financial information from countries within the region.
- Provide financial and operational insights to support business reviews and decision-making.
- Support ad hoc analyses and requests from regional management and local finance teams.
C. Process Improvement
- Contribute to the improvement and automation of reporting and planning processes.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with Group financial guidelines.
- Promote best practices and standardization across regional finance activities.
D. Collaboration
- Act as a key contact for local CFOs and finance teams across the region.
- Support communication and implementation of Group and regional finance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial transparency and performance.
E. Procurement Support
- Support countries with supplier management activities and procurement-related processes.
- Promote procurement best practices, compliance, and cost optimization across the region.
Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering, or a similar finance role.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and financial analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience working in an international or multi-country environment is a plus.
- Professional English
