Key Responsibilities
Collect, validate, and analyze reinsurance data received from cedants
Ensure regulatory data compliance
Conduct experience studies to support actuarial assumption setting
Work closely with underwriters, actuaries, claims, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness
Identify data quality issues and help design processes to enhance data integrity
Generate standard and ad-hoc reports and visualizations for internal and external use
Support automation and process improvement initiatives within the team
Where applicable, assume directorship responsibilities in accordance with China’s regulatory and governance requirements, including fulfilling legal obligations as a company director, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining proper corporate governance standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
1–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in insurance, reinsurance, or data analytics
Proficiency in Excel; experience with statistics tools (SQL, Python, or R)
Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills in Mandarin and basic English
