As a Relationship Manager within our Share Plans business, you will take strategic ownership of a portfolio of large, complex clients. Acting as a key partner, you'll focus on strengthening long-term relationships, delivering outstanding client outcomes, and supporting the continued growth and success of our business.


A role you will love

As a Share Plans Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of key clients, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver an exceptional client experience and maximise the value of each relationship.

Operating within a high-performing and collaborative environment, you'll influence decision-makers, champion client needs, and help shape strategic account plans. Alongside driving retention and satisfaction, you will identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and expand our client offering.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring an exceptional service experience through proactive engagement, issue resolution, and continuous
  • improvement initiatives
  • Identify, develop, and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities across your portfolio, contributing to revenue growth and EBITDA performance
  • Deliver valuable insights and recommendations through client presentations, commercial analysis, financial modelling, reporting, and trend identification
  • Support governance and compliance requirements while championing best practice and operational excellence across client accounts
  • Collaborate across the wider business to identify efficiencies, share expertise, and enhance the overall client proposition

 

What will you bring to the role?  

We're looking for a commercially astute and client-focused relationship manager with a proven ability to influence, build strong partnerships, and deliver measurable business results. Ideally, you will have experience within share plans, employee benefits, financial services, or another regulated environment, alongside a strong understanding of commercial drivers.

You will be confident managing complex stakeholder environments, spotting opportunities for growth, and balancing client needs with business objectives.

Essential requirements include:

  • Proven relationship management and business development experience, with the ability to identify and deliver commercial growth opportunities within existing client portfolios
  • Strong industry and commercial awareness, ideally gained within share plans, employee benefits, financial services, or a regulated environment
  • Excellent analytical and financial acumen, including experience producing costings, commercial proposals, financial models, and data-driven recommendations
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and decision-makers
  • Strong project management and risk management capabilities, with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
  • Degree educated or equivalent professional experience; ICSA qualification desirable but not essential
  • Flexibility to travel as required and confidence using the full Microsoft Office suite
