This is a high-impact, client-facing opportunity to join the Instruction Capture Client Data Exchange (ICCD) team within the Securities Services Product Development organization. The ICCD team sits at the heart of J.P. Morgan’s Securities Services business — the front door through which client instructions are captured, validated, enriched and seamlessly routed across the post-trade lifecycle. As a Vice President in this team, you will bring a rare combination of post-trade subject matter expertise, client relationship ownership and data-driven product leadership, serving as the primary product owner for a joint book of work with a large-scale institutional client undergoing a significant portfolio conversion to J.P. Morgan’s Securities Services platforms.

 

Job Summary 

As a Vice President within the Instruction Capture Client Data Exchange (ICCD) team you will be responsible for owning the end-to-end product outcomes for a large institutional client portfolio conversion onto JP Morgan Chase Securities Services platforms. You will serve as the primary product point of contact, translating complex instruction and data exchange requirements into clear deliverables and roadmap priorities. You will partner across Product, Client Service, Operations, Technology, and the Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) to enhance validation, enrichment, and downstream publishing 

across the post-trade lifecycle. You will drive measurable improvements to straight-through processing, controls, and client experience through data-driven product leadership.

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Own the joint book of work end-to-end for a large institutional client conversion, acting as primary product contact and subject matter authority
  • Lead client working sessions, product reviews, and escalation forums with operational, technology, and middle-office stakeholders
  • Translate instruction capture and client data exchange needs into prioritized product scope, requirements, and delivery plans
  • Drive the ICCD product vision and roadmap across asset classes (e.g., equities, fixed income, derivatives, funds) to ensure downstream integrity
  • Author business requirements and validation approach across instruction formats (e.g., XML, FIX, CSV)
  • Identify simplification and control opportunities to improve STP rates and reduce manual intervention, tracking outcome-based metrics
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed organization to deliver shared outcomes without direct line authority
  • Communicate status, decisions, risks, and dependencies through executive-ready scorecards and governance routines
  • Negotiate prioritization across competing roadmaps and guide enhancements through development, testing, and release cycles
  • Partner with CDAO to incorporate data strategy, governance, and AI-enabled capabilities into the ICCD product roadmap

 

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities 

  • Minimum 8 years of product management/product ownership experience in financial services (not program/project management)
  • Deep post-trade knowledge (trade lifecycle, settlements, corporate actions, asset servicing) across multiple asset classes
  • Experience supporting asset management or investment management operations, including middle-office functions
  • Proven ownership of large-scale client onboarding/conversion engagements (custody, fund administration, or IMOS preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to influence across complex, matrixed stakeholder groups at client and firm levels
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to use data to define requirements, measure outcomes, and improve controls
  • Working knowledge of AI/ML and analytics concepts as applied to post-trade/instruction data use cases
  • Proficiency with Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and Jira
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and delivery methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)

 

Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities 

  • Direct instruction capture domain experience and familiarity with FIX, XML, and CSV instruction formats
  • Hands-on exposure to data platforms, AI tools, or intelligent automation in a post-trade context
  • Experience with derivatives lifecycle management and/or rules-based/expert systems for instruction capture
  • Prior collaboration with a Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) or similar data governance/strategy function
