Senior Analyst, Enterprise Compliancenew

Westpac (Westpac) · Bank

Create your best future and join as a Senior Analyst, Enterprise Compliance

What’s the role?

As a Senior Analyst in the Breach Reporting Lodgement Team, you’ll play a key role in helping Westpac meet its regulatory obligations. This is a hands‑on, operational role where your focus will be on reviewing breach, investigation, misconduct and fraud reports, checking accuracy, and manually lodging reports with ASIC. The work is process‑driven, detail‑focused and high volume, with clear deadlines and regulatory importance.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to clarify information, resolve gaps and make sure reports are submitted accurately and on time. The role sits in the Breach Reporting Governance team within Group Regulatory Affairs, and it’s very much about execution, discipline and follow‑through rather than policy setting or advisory work.

This role is a full time, permanent role based in Sydney with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office, 2 days working from home).

What do I need?

We’re open to candidates from a range of operational backgrounds. To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, especially when working with data and regulatory information
  • The ability to follow defined processes and stay focused in a manual, repetitive, high‑volume environment
  • Experience in an operational role where meeting deadlines and maintaining quality really mattered
  • Confidence liaising with stakeholders to clarify information and resolve issues professionally
  • Comfort using systems to review, extract and update information (training will be provided on our tools)
  • Experience in financial services, compliance, remediation, call centres or mortgage operations is helpful but not required. ASIC reporting or JUNO system experience is a bonus, not a must.
