- Role - Senior Analyst I - Risk & Capital
- Location: Bangalore, India
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Role Overview: This position is responsible for delivering high-quality risk analyses and data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. The role combines risk management with advanced data analytics and AI integration, ensuring the organization remains agile and innovative in a dynamic risk environment.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with maintenance and enhancements of global exposure database for the purpose of any emerging risks. Able to pick up adhoc work which involves research and be able to build a framework for the team to work on it.
Translate business requirements into detailed product specifications and deliverables.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, QA, and operations to support development of the tool.
Working as a bridge between the business and IT teams to help business productionize the requirements.
Able to explore the data sources, mapping tables & 360’s tool at enterprise level and be able to incorporate it into our risk accumulation process.
Able to research and analyze data on broad range of industry risks to identify the total exposure for Chubb towards that risk and being able to provide meaningful insight for decision making for the underwriters.
Helping with process improvement of data capture and analysis. Identifying ways to improve efficiency and automate the process.
Coordinate with onshore team to ensure timely delivery of projects and being able to provide resolution to the errors/issues related to the deliverables.
Strong knowledge of SQL
Experience of Databricks, Snowflake, PySpark, and Python, preferably for data analysis and AI-enabled tasks.
Knowledge of GDP platforms like Data Market Place, R360 etc.
Ability to communicate business knowledge as requirement with the IT team on developing modernized tools.
Capability to develop appropriate UAT test plans across product lines to test out the new developments.
Able to understand data architecture across business lines and adapt scripts and queries in business tools to accommodate changing product board requirements.
Domain knowledge of product lines like Property, Casualty, Financial Risk, Political Risk
Having knowledge of database management systems and data analysis.
Having knowledge on data modelling is advantage.
Having knowledge on data visualization tools like Qlik sense/Tableau/Power Bi.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel /Word /PPT (including VBA macro skills), other MS Office applications (Access) are a plus.
Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise verbal and written responses or reports of analyses, results, and work products.
