Who we are looking for

We are seeking a senior application manager, AVP to lead advanced Markets Reg Reporting solution development & delivery. This is a hands-on development role focusing on turning a business need into practical, scalable solutions that meet all regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of application solutions, from problem framing and solution designing to deployment and monitoring. You will partner with business, global teams to deliver measurable, production-level outcomes.

What you will be responsible for

• Manage the Reg Reporting solution team with technology expertise and management skills.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of technology solutions to meet business and regulation requirements.
• Transform the way how we work with new tools/ideas.
• Partner with business, engineering, data, and governance teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and explainable solutions.
• Mentor team members and promote best practices in experimentation, validation, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years of proven experience in enterprise application development and production delivery.
• Strong proficiency in Java programming, with strong experience in Python programming.
• Familiar with whole SDLC process (waterfall, Agile) and tools (Git, Jfrog, DevOps etc).
• Hands-on experience in Databricks and public cloud (AWS or Azure).
• Strong leadership with success stories and being capable to manage a full function technology team.
• Being able to manage different priorities and deliver technical solutions with high quality.
• Experience in GenAI adoption in SDLC and business use cases.
• Strong communication & presentation skills in English and Chinese, with the ability to present complex technology solutions to senior stakeholders.
• Experience in banking or related industry is a plus.
