About the Role:

- Serve as a subject matter expert, managing complex operational processes across the loan trade lifecycle, including onboarding, trade records, closings, and exception management, ensuring data integrity and operational excellence.
- Provide expert support and guidance to clients and internal partners, acting as a key escalation point for complex issues and proactively resolving them to minimize client impact.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and continuous improvement efforts by partnering with cross-functional teams to enhance systems, processes, and the overall client experience.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues, ensuring timely and accurate processing while adhering to all operational controls and risk management practices.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing knowledge and promoting best practices to foster team development and operational consistency.
- All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week.
- An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 3+ years of experience in Loan Operations, Financial Services, or Banking Operations with a strong understanding of syndicated loan market operations, ClearPar workflows, and industry standards (LMA/LSTA knowledge preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational processes, resolve client, trade, and system-related issues independently, applying exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and execute multiple initiatives effectively in a fast-paced environment, coupled with strong verbal and written communication skills for diverse interactions.
- Resourcefulness, a solution-oriented mindset, and the ability to generate new ideas, actively collaborating within the team and understanding the impact of their own behavior.
- We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
- Working hours for this role are from 4 PM - 1 AM (MYT)
- Proven experience mentoring junior team members and serving as a subject matter expert in loan operations.
- Strong knowledge of primary and secondary loan trading processes and LMA/LSTA market standards.
- Experience in leading process improvement initiatives, driving operational efficiencies, and participating in cross-functional projects.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, combined with familiarity with workflow automation technologies
