We have an exciting opportunity within our Business Banking Operations Team for a Senior Analyst to come join us. As a Senior Analyst you will be responsible for identifying and driving new improvement opportunities and changes to existing processes across the Business Banking Operations team in line with our operational excellence principles. You'll need to focus on delivering change with tangible and measurable benefits whilst ensuring our risk management framework remains effective to mitigate any risks and keep the bank safe.

For this role, you'll be based at your nearest regional office or hub. We value time spent together to connect with colleagues for collaboration so there will be a regular requirement to attend our site Glasgow or Edinburgh office approximately twice a per week. If you are based at an office location, you'll be expected to meet our hybrid working requirement of at least two days a week, or 40% of your working time if part-time, in the office. If you’re based at our Glasgow office, this will apply from 1 April 2027 and ahead of that there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. What you’ll be doing
You’ll be supporting the leadership team to solve business issues, using analysis to improve performance and support achievement of commercial objectives. You will do this by presenting monthly updates to senior stakeholders and managers, completing data analysis and data cleansing activities to ensure all are operating as expected, and by identifying and escalating any issues with systems and processes through data analysis whilst ensuring stakeholders are kept informed appropriately.
Additionally, you’ll coordinate and track all change and improvement delivery across business banking operations, whilst collaborating with stakeholders to drive opportunities and improver internal processes and procedures.
By overseeing change management you will ensure all changes are delivered appropriately with no impact to customer or colleague engagement. You will be working on a variety projects, gathering requirements to help in solving issues impacting Business Banking.
You’ll represent business banking operations at key forums, managing stakeholder expectations by ensuring suitable MI us prepared.
About You
At minimum you will have:
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Experience creating and interpreting MI
- Knowledge of internal policies and procedures
- Established communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey messages and ideas to stakeholders
- Ability to learn quickly, able to work as part of a team and turn ideas into practical solutions
- Experience of working to a high level of detail and at pace to meet agreed deadlines ensuring change is implemented effectively for customers and colleagues
- Excellent Stakeholder Management experience
- Previous experience in an Operational environment or Business Banking
- Previous Project management experience
