At Computershare, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a highly capable Senior Employee Relations Consultant to join our global Employee Relations team and help shape positive employee experiences across a complex and dynamic organisation.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Employee Relations professional who combines deep technical expertise with a strong commercial mindset. You will partner with leaders across the business, helping them navigate complex employee matters, organisational change and workplace risk while building their confidence and capability to lead effectively.

A role you will love

As a trusted Employee Relations specialist, you'll provide expert advice and practical solutions that support both business performance and positive employee outcomes.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex and high-risk Employee Relations matters, including performance, conduct, grievance, disciplinary, workcover and workplace investigations.

  • Providing expert advice on Fair Work legislation, Modern Awards, workplace compliance and company policies.

  • Coaching leaders through challenging people situations and building their confidence to effectively manage employee issues.

  • Supporting organisational change programs, restructures and consultation activities in line with legislative requirements. 

  • Applying commercial judgement and risk-based thinking to deliver balanced, practical outcomes.

  • Partnering with Legal and key stakeholders to manage complex ER matters and reduce organisational risk.

  • Delivering training, guidance and capability-building initiatives to leaders and People teams.

  • Contributing to policy development, process improvement and the evolution of Employee Relations best practices.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Extensive Employee Relations experience within a complex corporate environment. 

  • Strong expertise in case management across employee relations matters, workplace investigations and organisational change. 

  • Deep understanding of Australian employment legislation, including the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards. 

  • Strong understanding and experience in managing WorkCover matters, including return-to-work requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, influence and challenge leaders while building their people leadership capability. 

  • A strong commercial mindset and ability to balance employee experience, business outcomes and compliance obligations. 

  • Experience supporting restructuring, consultation and transformation programs. 

  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills. 

  • Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent Employee Relations expertise.
