  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements, including supporting notes and disclosures.
  • Prepare quarterly compliance certificates and external financial reports, ensuring compliance with financial covenants and financing agreements.
  • Prepare management and internal financial reports, perform variance analyses, and explain key fluctuations in consolidated results.
  • Support annual consolidated financial forecasts and capital expenditure (CAPEX) projections.
  • Develop, document, and communicate group-wide accounting policies aligned with evolving ASPE requirements.
  • Manage accounting for newly acquired or established entities, assess complex and non-recurring transactions, and prepare technical accounting memos and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with external auditors, provide required documentation, coordinate group-wide audits, and work with accounting, tax, and corporate teams to ensure financial consistency, accuracy, and standardization.
  • Act as a subject matter expert during Phase 2 of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) implementation, particularly for consolidation activities.
  • Design, develop, and maintain financial reports within consolidation and reporting systems while identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve consolidation processes, reporting tools, and financial systems.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, particularly in financial consolidation and multi-entity accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and accounting for business combinations.
  • Experience with consolidation tools (e.g., CCH Tagetik, Hyperion) and ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365) considered an asset.
