Senior FP&A Business Partner, North America (Remote, US)new

IFS · Other

Job Description

This is a high-impact FP&A role at the heart of our North American business. As the senior Finance business partner for Ultimo and FSI, you will work closely with regional leaders and help shape decisions on pricing, hiring, investment and growth. You will bring financial insight into the conversation early - not simply report on decisions after they have been made.

From day one, you will have meaningful ownership. An early focus will be strengthening financial visibility across our services organization: building a forecast model leaders can rely on, sharpening our view of project margins and services revenue recognition, and improving how we plan capacity and resources. You will also play a key role in the 2027 budgeting process and help us use AI and automation to make Finance faster, smarter and more scalable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead forecasting and annual budgeting for North America across Ultimo and FSI
  • Build strong project-level reporting and provide clear insight into project margins and services revenue recognition
  • Drive utilization, capacity and resource planning for the services organization
  • Turn monthly performance data - including revenue, ARR, gross margin, services margin and operating costs - into actionable business insight
  • Partner closely with North American leadership, Sales and Services on pricing, hiring, investment and other key business decisions
  • Champion practical opportunities to use AI and automation to improve the speed, quality and scalability of Finance processes

What We Offer

  • A highly visible role in one of our strategic growth markets, with real ownership and the opportunity to influence decisions
  • An ambitious, collaborative global Finance team spanning Europe, North America and Sri Lanka
  • The opportunity to help shape a modern, AI-enabled Finance function rather than simply operate within an established model
  • An international SaaS environment with the scale and opportunities of the wider IFS group
  • Competitive compensation and benefits

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering, ideally within SaaS and/or professional services
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to move confidently from detailed project economics to executive-level conversations
  • Based in the United States within the Eastern Time Zone. This is required to ensure real-time collaboration with North American leadership and our European Finance team
  • Advanced Excel skills, from complex financial modeling to efficient analysis and data handling
  • A strong understanding of professional services economics, including revenue recognition, utilization and margin drivers
  • A self-starter mindset: comfortable working independently, challenging assumptions and turning analysis into action
  • Curiosity about AI and automation, with an interest in applying new tools to scale and strengthen FP&A
