Senior Full Stack Engineer, Frontend-Oriented

At Navan Edge, we build products that make business travel easier for everyone who takes it. We’re looking for a frontend-oriented Full Stack Engineer to shape and build core product experiences used by travelers every day. You’ll focus primarily on our web frontend while contributing across the stack, working closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to turn customer needs into reliable, intuitive features.
What You’ll Do:
● Design, build, and evolve customer-facing web experiences using React and TypeScript.
● Work across the stack, contributing to backend services and APIs built with Node.js and TypeScript.
● Own product features from discovery and technical design through implementation, launch, and iteration.
● Build accessible, responsive, and high-quality interfaces that perform reliably at scale.
● Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to understand customer needs and deliver cross-domain features.
● Contribute to AI-powered features, including LLM integrations and conversational experiences.
● Help shape frontend architecture, engineering practices, and the long-term direction of the product.
● Write maintainable code and support production quality through testing, monitoring, and documentation.
What We’re Looking For:
● 5+ years of experience building and shipping software products.
● Strong frontend experience with React and TypeScript, and a track record of delivering polished web applications.
● Experience building backend services and APIs with Node.js and TypeScript.
● Understanding of web fundamentals, API design, and relational databases.
● Experience with scalable applications and distributed systems; familiarity with microservices and event-driven architectures is a plus.
● Strong product sense, with an ability to translate customer needs into thoughtful technical and design decisions.
● A strong sense of ownership and experience taking production-quality features from idea to launch.
● Interest in agentic AI systems, LLM integrations, and AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Copilot.
● A collaborative approach, clear communication, and a willingness to learn and use new tools and technologies.
● Experience with AWS is a plus.
