At Westpac, we are committed to improving home ownership outcomes for First Nations Australians through our Reconciliation Action Plan. Working across Mortgages, Corporate Affairs & Sustainability, Distribution, Indigenous Strategy and external partners, you will coordinate delivery across RAP commitments, align stakeholders and support execution across the initiatives needed to improve access, experience and outcomes for Indigenous customers.
You will establish and manage an industry roundtable, bringing together government, industry and community partners to identify and address barriers to Indigenous home ownership. You will also lead engagement with external partners delivering financial capability programmes and financial empowerment services for Indigenous communities.
A key focus of the role will be collaborating with internal and external partners to design and deliver a First Nations mortgage proposition that meets underserved needs, while operating within credit, policy, risk, governance and compliance requirements.
The role is integrative by nature, connecting Mortgages, Sustainability, Distribution, Indigenous Banking, Credit Policy, Product & Proposition and external partners to drive aligned outcomes, remove blockers and maintain effective reporting for internal and external bodies.

- Exceptional stakeholder relationship-building and engagement skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders and provide direction in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to bring external perspectives, market trends, policy insights and best practice to identify opportunities that improve access to home ownership and inform future strategy.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge strategy and execution, turning commitments into clear workstreams, delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
- Experience leading complex strategic initiatives from design through to execution, with a strong ability to translate long-term objectives into practical delivery outcomes.
