Job Descriptions:
- Independently lead end-to-end strategic finance assessments for business initiatives, planning, and forecasting activities, including defining the evaluation framework, determining the analytical approach, challenging key assumptions, assessing strategic options and trade-offs, and formulating recommendations for senior management consideration and decision-making.
- Act as the finance lead and strategic thought partner to Channels, Expense Control, and cross-functional teams on selected strategic initiatives. Develop an independent financial and commercial point of view, constructively challenge business proposals, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations that influence initiative design and management decisions.
- Lead the financial assessment and independent validation of key new business assumptions supporting APE/NBP forecasts for local management and Group reporting. Proactively identify emerging risks and opportunities, challenge channel forecasts where appropriate, and recommend potential management actions or alternative scenarios through robust analytical models.
- Own the development and continuous improvement of forecasting and planning tools, models, and analytical frameworks, exercising autonomy in prioritising enhancements that improve the efficiency, scalability, automation, and decision usefulness of BAU activities.
Job Requirements:
- University graduate, preferably with actuarial background or qualifications
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Strong functional expertise. Ability to independently structure and lead complex strategic or commercial assessments from problem definition through to recommendation
- Strong commercial judgement, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, develop an independent point of view, and influence senior stakeholders
- Ability to operate with limited supervision, manage ambiguity, and exercise sound judgement in determining analytical priorities and approaches
- Strong leadership ability and executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into concise recommendations and decision-oriented management materials
- Proven ability to engage and align cross-functional stakeholders while maintaining ownership of the overall assessment and recommendations
