We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented leader to own and evolve our field collateral strategy to support across the US SME organization. The Sr. Manager will define the roadmap for field collateral in partnership with key stakeholders across sales and product, lead the development of new collateral, optimization of core collateral, and drive efforts to scale adoption across US SME field teams to deliver against business goals with clear, compelling marketing.
This role will also lead the development, implementation and maintenance of operational processes that support the collateral team and the broader Managed Customer Marketing organization. The Sr. Manager, US SME Sales Collateral will report to the Director of Sales Collateral Marketing and manage two analysts responsible for execution and deployment. This role requires close partnership with Product, Sales, Legal, and Compliance teams to deliver best-in-class marketing and sales enablement assets.
- Own and evolve the field collateral strategy and roadmap, translating business and product priorities into impactful field marketing while leading the end-to-end development, governance, and execution of collateral in partnership with Sales, Product, Legal, and Compliance.
- Be the thought leader and strategist for field collateral related to all Amex product launches and refreshes including B2B products and solutions.
- Drive adoption and measurable business impact of field collateral by expanding usage across target audiences and evolving performance measurement beyond asset utilization to inform future investment and optimization.
- Manage external agency partners to deliver high-quality, compliant field marketing materials that align with business objectives, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross-functional execution by managing timelines, dependencies, approvals, risks, and executive communications to ensure timely delivery, informed decision-making, and visibility into key milestones.
- Lead and develop a Sr. Analyst and Marketing Operations Analyst, providing direction on execution, prioritization, and deployment of updates and enhancements. Ensure 100% availability of the asset within the Field Resource Center.
- Serve as Collateral SME across the broader GLAMM organization to share best practices and processes for effective field collateral development.
- Lead and continuously enhance operational governance processes for MCM, including record retention, standard operating procedures, control updates, implementation of new operational workflows, and other risk management initiatives that strengthen the organization's control environment and risk culture.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Strong project management skills and great attention to detail, with the ability to independently move multiple projects forward in parallel
- Natural collaborator and excellent influencer who enjoys working with and through others to drive success across multiple business units and stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with ability to communicate through various written mediums, presentations, training sessions, etc.
- Strong executive presence and the ability to communicate effectively will all levels of management
- Known for exhibiting strong growth mindset, being proactive and comfortable acting with autonomy
- Team player with a willingness to have fun
- Significant marketing strategy, content development and partnership management experience.
- Proven analytical and strategic thinking skills as it relates to content development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Field support experience is a plus!
- People Leadership experience is a plus
