Job title: Senior Multi-Channel Marketing Manager

A proactive and creative senior Marketer with a strong understanding of multi-channel marketing strategies, including digital marketing, paid advertising, events and social media, alongside a solid analytical skill set for data-driven decisions, particularly within the financial services sector. You should be skilled in creating engaging content and tailoring campaigns for diverse audiences while managing key stakeholder relationships across the Asia region. You should also be adept at executing global campaigns appropriately targeted to local Asia markets. You will also take a leading position in managing senior stakeholders (i.e. Country Heads, Sales Heads) to understand the needs of that particular market and ensure effective delivery. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate excellent organisational skills, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams. The team
The Asia Marketing team is responsible for implementing comprehensive marketing strategies across the Asia region. We create targeted campaigns and integrated marketing programs that enhance Schroders' market presence and communicate our value proposition to diverse client segments, including intermediaries (advisory firms, retail banks, private banks, financial institutions), institutional investors (pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, consultants), private markets audience and insurance companies.
Working within Schroders' global marketing framework, we collaborate closely with the Marketing Centres of Expertise, regional and country teams, sales, product development, and corporate communications to ensure a consistent yet locally relevant marketing approach that strengthens Schroders' position as a leading global asset manager while supporting the firm's business growth objectives.
What you’ll do
The Senior Multi-Channel Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical marketing initiatives aimed at promoting the company's products and services to target audiences across the Asia region, as well as managing relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of diverse Asian markets, the relevant products, and effective cross-cultural marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Development
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the company's offerings to target audiences across the Asia region
- Contribute to annual and quarterly marketing planning aligned with business objectives and growth targets
- Establish clear channel prioritisation based on audience behaviour, ROI analysis, and business goals as relevant for each market.
- Support segmentation and targeting strategies across different buyer personas in various Asian markets
- Contribute to the marketing budget allocation across channels and countries to maximise impact and efficiency
- Deliver effective, locally relevant campaigns to support Strategic Client partnerships and product initiatives, such as exclusive distributor partnerships and fund launches.
- Help orchestrate the regional marketing calendar to ensure integrated campaign execution and resource optimisation
Channel Management & Execution
- Execute marketing initiatives across various channels to drive brand awareness and engagement through to consideration and retention.
- Manage digital marketing channels including email, social media, content marketing, and paid digital.
- Oversee traditional marketing channels including events and sponsorships, OOH, print, and direct marketing as appropriate.
- Implement marketing automation workflows to nurture leads through the conversion funnel, in collaboration with the digital activation managers.
- Support website content strategy and SEO/SEM initiatives to drive qualified traffic and conversions.
- Execute integrated campaigns that deliver consistent messaging across multiple touchpoints with cultural relevance to Asian markets.
Content & Creative Direction
- Help develop multi-channel content strategies aligned with customer journey stages.
- Oversee adaptation of marketing assets for different channels and regional audience segments.
- Ensure brand consistency while optimising content format for channel-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop engaging visual and written marketing materials.
- Implement content governance processes to maintain quality and regulatory compliance across Asia jurisdictions.
- Support personalisation initiatives to deliver relevant content experiences to target segments, working in conjunction with the Digital Activation Managers.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Take a leading role in managing key senior stakeholders (Country Heads, Sales Heads) to understand their client and market needs and deliver campaigns that meet those needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment.
- Support management of agency relationships and vendor partnerships to maximise value and performance.
- Coordinate with Client Group to align marketing initiatives with sales objectives and provide sales enablement.
- Liaise with proposition teams to ensure accurate positioning and messaging of product offerings.
- Participate in internal communications to drive marketing awareness across the organisation.
Analytics & Performance Optimisation
- Analyse campaign performance and marketing metrics to inform ongoing strategies and improvements.
- Support attribution modelling to understand channel effectiveness and customer journeys.
- Develop reporting to track KPIs and communicate marketing impact to stakeholders.
- Conduct A/B testing with Digital Activation Manager to continuously optimise marketing performance.
- Utilise customer data insights to improve targeting, personalisation, and campaign effectiveness.
- Calculate and report on marketing ROI and other relevant financial metrics.
Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning in Asia markets.
- Stay updated on industry developments to inform marketing approaches.
- Monitor competitive activities and market dynamics to identify threats and opportunities.
Communication & Reporting
- Prepare and present marketing materials and reports to stakeholders.
- Create campaign briefs and project documentation to ensure alignment across teams.
- Produce regular performance reports with actionable insights for continuous improvement.
- Communicate marketing impact on business metrics including pipeline and revenue.
- Share marketing best practices and knowledge across the organisation.
The Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications You Need
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in multi-channel marketing, preferably within the financial services or related industry
- Good understanding of digital marketing strategies, analytics, email marketing, and social media platforms
- Fluent English skills in both spoken and written form; additional Asian languages advantageous.
- Proven ability to create engaging content and develop targeted marketing campaigns tailored to various audience segments.
- Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems
- Strong analytical abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced marketing environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions while also being receptive to feedback and team input.
- Understanding of cultural nuances and preferences across Asia markets.
- Experience working with regional compliance requirements for marketing materials.
- Curiosity of new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity – i.e. AI tools for marketing.

- Familiarity with the regulatory environment within the financial services industry across Asia markets
- Experience in using SEO, PPC, and data analytics tools to drive marketing strategy and optimise campaign performance
- Knowledge of customer segmentation and experience in targeting strategies that enhance customer engagement
- An understanding of emerging marketing trends and technologies that can be leveraged for innovative marketing strategies
- Project management skills and experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives
- Experience working in cross-cultural teams or on international marketing campaigns
- Proven experience in nurturing strong relationships with senior stakeholders, gaining their confidence and trust; acting as a partner to sales and business teams.
