Solaris is Europe’s leading embedded finance platform, pioneering Banking-as-a-Service to bridge the gap between financial technology and licensed banking. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Berlin, Solaris enables fintechs, digital ecosystems, and multinationals to embed accounts, cards, lending, and payments directly into their own products, creating seamless financial experiences for their users. As a fully licensed German bank, Solaris combines the highest standards of IT security and regulatory resilience with a modular, highly scalable infrastructure.
Today, Solaris is driving the next evolution of financial services by transitioning into an AI-native banking platform, ensuring European businesses can deploy secure, adaptable financial products at scale.
Why join Solaris?
- 🚀 We are fundamentally redesigning banking processes around AI orchestration, standardized modular building blocks, and embedded regulatory compliance.
- 🎯 We combine tech and banking in dedicated hubs - driving the technology infrastructure out of Berlin and banking operations out of Frankfurt.
- 💡 Through our internal mobility, growth opportunities, and the Solaris Academy, we offer continuous learning tracks, AI ambassador mentorship, and upskilling to keep your skills ahead of the curve.
- ⚖️ We foster a workplace rooted in integrity, proactive risk management, and equality actively driving initiatives like DEI initiatives.
As a Senior People Partner, you will actively shape the evolution of our People organization. You will act as a trusted partner to leaders, drive the automation and digitization of our HR processes, and ensure seamless compliance with German labor law and governance standards.
If you are eager to guarantee hands-on operational reliability while setting strategic impulses as a trusted partner in a dynamic fintech environment, we look forward to receiving your application!
Your Role
Core People Operations & Lifecycle Execution
- End-to-end management and administration of all stages of the employee lifecycle (including onboarding, contractual updates, relocations, and offboarding) in full compliance with German labor standards and internal processes.
- Drive operational excellence and high data integrity across core HR systems, managing data workflows, generating standard HR reporting, and resolving employee queries efficiently.
- Provide agile talent acquisition backup during hiring peaks to support recruitment velocity and business continuity without taking on a full-time recruiter mandate.
Strategic Partnering & Consulting
- Serve as a strategic, consultative People Partner, translating business priorities into tailored people solutions.
- Act as a senior advisor and coach to managers on talent development, team dynamics, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Partner with People Growth & Development and People Governance & Automation to roll out company-wide initiatives across performance management, compensation, L&D, and regulatory updates.
Operational Excellence, AI & Optimization
- Leverage automation and AI tools to streamline workflows and reduce administrative friction across the HR lifecycle.
- Analyze people metrics (turnover, engagement, headcount trends) to identify patterns and provide actionable recommendations to leaders.
