About the Role

We are pleased to be advertising an opportunity to join our Brisbane based Private Banking team as either a Senior Private Banker, or Private Banker (depending on experience).

Private Bank caters to ANZ's high net worth individuals and family groups, assisting them to manage, grow and preserve their assets. We provide our clients with a personalised relationship and holistic solutions tailored to their values, aspirations and needs.

This segment caters to the needs of our High-Net-Worth clients including Business Owners, Senior Executives, Medical/Accounting/Law Professionals.  We focus on providing our clients with a holistic service proposition covering investment management, intergenerational wealth transfer, debt solutions, cash management and transaction banking.

In this role you will be part of a team managing a portfolio of high value clients with complex needs. You will be the primary relationship contact for a segment of the client portfolio, working with an Associate Private Banker and other specialists, enabling timely and relevant solutions to be delivered for our clients.

Here is some more details on our client proposition:

• Wealth Advisory (Investments/Super/Insurances; our own Chief Investment Office with over $12b Investment FUM and ongoing investment into global platforms)
• Cash Management

• Lending (residential and commercial property, specialized assets and equities including complex/bespoke structures and offerings)
• Business Exits/Sales (Preparation/Advisory/Transition)
• Next Generational Wealth Transfer guidance (Succession/Estate Planning/Philanthropy etc) ANZ bank’s >50% of the AFR top 200 giving you and our clients/prospects confidence in our proposition.

Work Hours: Full time (40 hours per week)

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Excellent communication skills combined with a client relationship management background
• Established banking and lending experience
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong understanding of credit processes, policy and credit skills including commercial debt knowledge
• Transactional Banking and Cash Management capabilities
• Proven experience working on retail and commercial products, systems & processes
• Strong focus on compliance, attention to detail & flawless execution. Results oriented with exceptional ability to deliver outcomes
• Proven internal and external networking skills
• An understanding of wealth management & advisory, as well as knowledge of equity & debt capital markets, are highly regarded, but not mandatory
