We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer with deep expertise in data reconciliation, specializing in ReconArt and SmartStream TLM Reconciliation systems. This role focuses on end-to-end reconciliation implementation, migration, and production support, ensuring seamless operation and continuous improvement of our reconciliation platforms.

How You Succeed:
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of hands-on experience with ReconArt and SmartStream TLM (Recs Premium v3.0), combining strong technical skills with business analysis capabilities. You will excel in configuring, customizing, and developing reconciliation solutions, understanding the Recs Premium architecture, and driving projects from requirements through delivery while supporting production environments proactively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead full lifecycle reconciliation projects using ReconArt and TLM, including platform upgrades, migration, and new feature builds.

  • Configure and customize Recs Premium modules—match rules, dashboards, control processes—to meet business needs.

  • Conduct detailed business analysis: requirement gathering, AS-IS/TO-BE process mapping, impact assessments, and solution design.

  • Manage environment setup, patch deployments, SWIFT upgrades, and implement scheduled reporting.

  • Develop and maintain custom schemas, complex match rules, and dashboards within ReconArt and TLM.

  • Deliver new development changes and provide robust production support, including change requests, bug fixes, and risk assessments.

  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation (BRD, FDD, TDD, test cases, user manuals).

  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and regulatory compliance.

  • Conduct root cause analysis of reconciliation discrepancies and implement corrective actions to improve data accuracy and process efficiency.

  • Monitor reconciliation system performance, generate operational reports, and recommend enhancements to improve throughput and scalability.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal controls related to financial data reconciliation and reporting.

  • Participate in testing activities including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing to validate reconciliation solutions.

  • Design, develop, and implement automation solutions for the reconciliation platform to streamline onboarding processes, reduce manual effort, and improve processing efficiency

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years’ experience in ReconArt and SmartStream TLM implementations and support.

  • Expertise in ReconArt and TLM Recs Premium (v3.0), including Control, Smart Studio, Smart Schema, and WebConnect.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and dashboard/report development.

  • Advanced programming/scripting skills: Python, Unix Shell, PL/SQL, Crystal Reports.

  • Experience with Control-M scheduler, SWIFT upgrades, and enterprise scheduling tools.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices: JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence, JUnit, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of version control systems (SVN, GitHub) and application servers (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with a proactive, can-do attitude.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies and working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

  • Knowledge of financial products, transaction types, and regulatory requirements related to reconciliation is desirable.

  • Ability to document technical specifications, operational procedures, and user guides clearly and concisely.
