職務概要Job Purpose

ソリューションアーキテクトは、組織の戦略目標の実現を支えるビジネス整合型のテクノロジーアーキテクチャを定義・推進する責任を担います。本ポジションでは、アーキテクチャブループリントおよびロードマップの策定、事業戦略をターゲットアーキテクチャへ変換するための設計、戦略的施策におけるソリューションアーキテクチャのリードを行います。また、プロジェクトや技術的意思決定がエンタープライズアーキテクチャ原則、IT戦略、および中長期的な事業変革目標に沿って適切にガバナンスされることを確実にします。

本ポジションの最優先課題は、保険システムのエンドツーエンドのモダナイゼーションを主導し、レガシーシステムを拡張性・統合性・ビジネス適合性を備えたプラットフォームへ変革するために必要なターゲットアーキテクチャ、移行ロードマップ、および実行アプローチを確立することです。これには、ビジネス部門およびIT部門の関係者との連携、ソリューションオプションおよびアーキテクチャ上の意思決定の定義、バリューチェーン全体にわたる実装の推進が含まれます。また、業務効率の向上、顧客体験の改善、規制対応の強化、および長期的な事業価値の創出を実現することが求められます。

主な業務内容 Job Responsibilities

• アーキテクチャブループリントを策定し、事業戦略と整合したソリューションアーキテクチャ戦略の定義および推進を行う。
• 各部門のビジネスステークホルダーと密接に連携し、事業目標、戦略的優先事項、および変革目標を理解する。
• 業務プロセス、システム、システム連携、テクノロジー機能を含む現状の業務・アプリケーション環境を評価し、As-Isアーキテクチャのベースラインを確立する。
• 事業戦略の実現、業務効率の向上、および将来的な成長を支えるためのターゲットアーキテクチャを設計する。
• 現状と将来像の間に存在する業務機能、プロセス、アプリケーション、データ、テクノロジーのギャップを特定し、それらを解消するための実現可能なロードマップを策定する。
• ビジネス変革チーム、開発・導入チーム、プロダクトサポートチーム、およびその他関係者と協力し、アーキテクチャビジョン、ソリューション方針、実施順序、および実装アプローチの整合を図る。
• 戦略的施策におけるエンドツーエンドのソリューションアーキテクチャを主導し、ビジネス部門、開発チーム、およびベンダーと連携しながら、構想から実装までのソリューション設計を推進する。
• 戦略プロジェクトにおけるアーキテクチャ責任者として、ソリューションが事業戦略、IT戦略、アーキテクチャ原則、および策定済みのブループリントやロードマップと整合していることを担保する。
• ソリューション設計レビュー、技術選定、システム連携方針、実装上の意思決定を含め、プロジェクトライフサイクル全体を通じてアーキテクチャ方針およびガバナンスを提供する。
• プロジェクトにおけるアーキテクチャ提案をレビューし、整合性、拡張性、保守性、リスク管理、および長期的な事業価値の観点から適切に評価・提言を行う。
• 保険業界およびテクノロジー市場の動向を継続的にモニタリングし、組織に関連する機会、リスク、および新たな技術動向を特定する。
• アーキテクチャに関する知識、業務ドメインの専門性、および業界のベストプラクティスへの理解を継続的に強化し、事業変革や技術意思決定の支援に活かす。

• 保険業界での業務経験を有し、保険商品、業務プロセス、基幹システム、および業務運営モデルに関する深い理解を有すること。
• 事業戦略をアーキテクチャブループリント、ターゲットアーキテクチャ設計、および実行可能なロードマップへ落とし込んだ実績。
• 現行の業務・システム環境を評価し、課題やギャップを特定した上で、戦略目標と整合するターゲットアーキテクチャを策定した経験。
• 大規模戦略プログラム、変革プロジェクト、または複雑なエンタープライズプロジェクトにおいて、エンドツーエンドのソリューションアーキテクチャ設計および導入をリードした実績。
• アプリケーションアーキテクチャ、インテグレーションアーキテクチャ、データアーキテクチャ、およびエンタープライズテクノロジープラットフォームに関する知識。
• ソフトウェア開発の実務経験を有し、エンジニアとの技術的な議論をリードし、設計判断に対して適切なレビューや提言を行える十分な技術的知見を有すること。
• 保険プラットフォームに関連するソリューションアーキテクチャまたは導入プロジェクトの実績を有すること。対象領域には、契約管理システム（Policy Administration System）、保険金請求管理システム（Claims System）、請求・収納システム（Billing System）、代理店管理システム（Producer Management System）、代理店ポータル、保険販売システム、顧客ポータル、その他保険関連プラットフォームを含む。
• クロスファンクショナルな環境において、ビジネス部門、導入・開発チーム、ベンダー、および運用・サポート組織と密接に連携した経験。
• アーキテクチャ標準、ガバナンスプロセス、リスク管理、およびIT統制要件に関する理解を有し、TOGAF、ITIL、COBIT等の代表的なアーキテクチャおよびITガバナンスフレームワークに関する知識を有すること。

Job Purpose

The Solution Architect is responsible for defining and guiding business-aligned technology architecture that enables the organization’s strategic objectives. This role develops architecture blueprints and roadmaps, translates business strategy into target-state solutions, leads solution architecture for strategic initiatives, and ensures projects and technology decisions are governed in line with enterprise architecture principles, IT strategy, and long-term business transformation goals.

The Solution Architect’s initial priority is to lead the end-to-end modernization of the Insurance systems, establishing the target architecture, transition roadmap, and delivery approach needed to transform legacy capabilities into a scalable, integrated, and business-aligned platform. This includes coordinating business and technology stakeholders, defining solution options and architectural decisions, guiding implementation across the full value chain, and ensuring the modernization effort delivers improved operational efficiency, customer experience, regulatory alignment, and long-term strategic value.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and drive solution architecture strategy aligned with business strategy by developing architecture blueprints.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across functions to understand business objectives, strategic priorities, and transformation goals.
• Assess the current business and application landscape, including processes, systems, integrations, and technology capabilities, to establish the as-is architecture baseline.
• Design the target architecture required to support business strategy, improve operational effectiveness, and enable future growth.
• Identify capability, process, application, data, and technology gaps between the current and target states, and define practical roadmaps to close those gaps.
• Work with business transformation teams, delivery teams, product support teams, and other stakeholders to align architecture vision, solution direction, sequencing, and implementation approach.
• Lead end-to-end solution architecture development for strategic initiatives, partnering with business teams, delivery teams, and vendors to shape solution design from concept through implementation.
• Act as the architecture on strategic projects, ensuring solutions are aligned with enterprise business and IT strategy, architecture principles, and the established blueprints and roadmaps.
• Provide architectural direction and governance throughout the project lifecycle, including solution design review, technology selection, integration approach, and implementation decisions.
• Review and challenge project architecture proposals to ensure consistency, scalability, maintainability, risk control, and long-term business value.
• Monitor business, insurance, and technology trends in the market to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging capabilities relevant to the organization.
• Continuously strengthen architecture knowledge, domain expertise, and awareness of industry practices to better support business transformation and technology decision-making.

Required Skills and Experiences

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Specific Qualifications

• English business fluency

Total Experience

• Extensive experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or similar technology roles.
• Experience in the insurance industry, with solid understanding of insurance products, business processes, core systems, and operating models.
• Proven ability to translate business strategy into architecture blueprints, target-state designs, and practical implementation roadmaps.
• Demonstrated experience assessing current-state business and system landscapes, identifying gaps, and defining target architecture aligned with strategic goals.
• Proven experience of end-to-end solution architecture development and implementation for large-scale strategic programs, transformation initiatives, or complex enterprise projects.
• Knowledge of application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and enterprise technology platforms.
• Prior hands-on software development experience and sufficient technical depth to engage credibly with engineers, challenge solution design decisions, and ensure architecture is practical, scalable, and implementable.
• Demonstrated success in solution architecture or implementation initiatives for insurance platforms, including any of: policy administration systems, claims systems, billing systems, producer management systems, agent portals, Insurance sales, customer portals, or other insurance platforms.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, vendors, and support organizations in cross-functional environments.
• Understanding of architecture standards, governance processes, risk considerations, and technology control requirements, with knowledge of recognized architecture and governance frameworks such as TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT, and related enterprise architecture and IT governance practices.
• Strong understanding of system development lifecycle and delivery methodologies, including waterfall, Agile, and DevOps practices, with the ability to apply architecture governance and solution design effectively across both traditional and modern delivery environments.
• Good knowledge of modern technology trends, including cloud, AI, APIs, digital platforms, data solutions, and emerging enterprise technologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess trade-offs and make sound architecture recommendations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both business and technology leaders.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery considerations to ensure solutions are both architecturally sound and implementable.
• Strong collaboration, and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
