Aprio is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to join their Real Estate Team team in Portland!
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys complex business returns, taking ownership of engagements, and expanding their technical skills while working alongside experienced industry leaders.
The role is ideally based in Portland, Oregon, with a hybrid work schedule, though we're open to exceptional candidates throughout the Pacific Northwest, including Seattle, who can support occasional in-person team and client needs.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Take ownership engagements from planning through completion
- Develop specialized expertise in partnership taxation, real estate transactions, and flow-through entities
- Build meaningful client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor
- Collaborate with an experienced team that is investing in technology, automation, AI-enabled tools, and modern tax delivery processes
- Gain exposure to engagement review, staff development, and increasing leadership responsibilities as you progress toward Manager and beyond
- Work closely with partners and industry leaders who are committed to mentoring and developing future leaders within the practice
