Senior Underwriter, Accident & Health Corporatenew

We have an exciting opportunity for a positive and enthusiastic professional to join our highly skilled underwriting team in Consumer Lines.

Responsibilities:

• Underwrite and analyze risks for new and renewal of Accident & Health (A&H) business in accordance with company guideline

• Review policy wording, endorsements and quotations to ensure alignment with underwriting guidelines and business objectives

• Assess submissions, negotiate terms, and determine appropriate pricing and coverage conditions.

• Develop and maintain relationships with producers to support business retention, encourage new business opportunities, obtain necessary underwriting information, and deliver quality service
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support efficient case handling and service delivery 
• Support other ad-hoc business assignments and projects as required

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
• At least 5 years of underwriting experience in A&H products
• Proactive, independent, and self-motivated with strong interpersonal skill
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Able to work effectively in a dynamic team environment and contribute to a positive team culture
• Customer-focused with a strong drive for execution
• Strong spoken and written English and Chinese

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Underwriter role
