The Senior Vice President leads the headcount, vacancy and requisition governance processes, translating complex workforce and financial data into decision-ready reporting and recommendations for the Head of Fund Accounting Operations and the Fund Accounting Senior Leadership Team. Working with a senior executive audience, the role requires strong, commercially disciplined judgement coupled with a detailed understanding of the business and industry.
Capacity Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
Own the end-to-end headcount planning and forecasting process, maintaining a clear view of current capacity, funded positions, vacancies and future demand.
Partner with location leaders and key stakeholders to validate capacity requirements, challenge assumptions and ensure requests are supported by budget, forecast demand and a clear business rationale.
Anticipate workforce trends and new-business demand, translating forecasts into practical capacity and resourcing recommendations.
Analyse financial and workforce data to identify capacity gaps, emerging risks, trends and opportunities.
Collaborate with Finance, HR and senior leadership on budgets, forecasts, workforce assumptions and management reporting.
Requisition Governance
Govern the vacancy and requisition process, engaging senior location leaders across all jurisdictions to capture, validate and prioritise requests.
Reconcile requisitions to approved forecasts and budgets, applying commercially disciplined judgement.
Management Reporting
Act as a key point of contact for senior leadership on financial planning, performance updates and the escalation of critical issues.
Produce concise, executive-ready reporting, often on an ad hoc basis, across financial and strategy-related themes.
Distil complex financial and workforce data into clear, decision-ready narratives and recommendations, with accuracy as a priority.
Build, maintain and continuously improve robust reporting templates, models and reconciliations.
Provide leadership, coaching and direction to a specialist team, ensuring high-quality analysis, effective prioritisation and consistent delivery.
Experience:
- Third-level degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Management or related discipline.
- Significant experience within financial services or another complex, global organisation, with exposure to strategic planning, business management, financial analysis, workforce planning or operational governance.
- Advanced Excel, modelling and analytical capabilities, with a strong focus on data integrity, governance and controls.
- Experience developing financial models, forecasting tools and executive reporting frameworks to support strategic decision-making.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders using data-driven and commercially sound rationale.
- Experience operating across multiple jurisdictions and managing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Experience leading, coaching or developing others, with the ability to set direction, manage priorities and maintain delivery standards.
