As a Senior Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the CIB Research Technology team, you will be a key contributor across the Research Platform. You will apply your expertise within a collaborative, high-performing team focused on building scalable and resilient solutions that meet the needs of our fast-moving business. This role focuses on full stack engineering across the platform.
Job responsibilities
Own end to end deliverables across the Research Platform
Take ideas from conception through to production features
Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions
Champion engineering best practices and help us evolve our fast-moving agentic SDLC
Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary global team
Operate with a product-first mindset to execute efficiently and effectively
Diagnose, debug and problem solve to keep production services running
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Proven end to end autonomous ownership of feature delivery in a complex application
Hands-on experience across the full stack and a willingness to pick up anything required to move a project forward
Demonstrated experience designing and deploying cloud-native applications on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience of all stages of the SDLC and a willingness to pick up whatever is necessary to make a project successful
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and resolve complex technical challenges independently
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience working within Financial Services or regulated technology environments
An understanding of Financial Research
Experience of engineering delivery using an agentic SDLC
Understanding of managing risk and controls across an application or platform
