Your future role within QRT:

• Design and build high-performance, reliable software systems and reusable components.

• Take ownership of technical design and implementation, contributing to architectural decisions and evolving existing systems.

• Solve challenging engineering problems involving concurrency, performance, and system reliability.

• Investigate and troubleshoot complex issues to improve system robustness and efficiency.

• Contribute to code reviews, automated testing and engineering best practices.

• Collaborate with researchers and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.

Your present skillset:

• Excellent computer science fundamentals, particularly algorithms, data structures and system design.

• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Rust, C++, Go or Java.

• Hands-on experience designing and building software systems, with a strong sense of ownership.

• Good understanding of multithreading, asynchronous I/O, memory management and performance optimization.

• Experience developing reliable, production-grade software, with strong debugging and testing practices.

• Comfortable working in Linux environments.

• Curious, proactive and comfortable tackling complex technical challenges.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
