Specialist, (Supervisory), Fund/Client Accounting Representative II

We are seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, (Supervisory), Fund/Client Accounting Representative II to join our Private Equity Fund/Client Accounting team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of a small- to medium-sized fund accounting support team. • Set work priorities and allocate resources according to client and fund accounting functional needs. 

• Manage the daily accounting and net asset value (NAV) production workflow to service multiple funds. 

• Review data and assist in resolving escalated problems that may arise during the normal daily, weekly, or monthly accounting and reporting. • Supervise the tracking of fund data and maintenance of accounting records. 

• Establish data maintenance and summarization processes and procedures to improve team efficiency and best support the accounting team. 

• Set standards for team’s report output to be shared with accounting teams. 

• Coordinate review of reports and the sharing of reports with accounting teams. 

• Maintain relationships with client staff and ensure clients receive needed information in a timely manner and that all accounting support needs are met. 

• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce audit and financial exposure and improve team efficiency. • Supervise a small Fund/Client Accounting team. 

• May be responsible for specific supervisory review and approval actions. 

• Help develop and contribute to the achievement of team objectives.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. 

• 5-7 years of total work experience preferred. 

• Experience in Private Equity Fund accounting preferred.
