About Helius
Helius is the leading developer platform for Solana. We build the infrastructure that powers many of the most widely used crypto applications. Teams like Coinbase, Phantom, and Jupiter rely on Helius to access blockchain data, run production-grade infrastructure, and build real-time applications on Solana.
Helius has raised $34M+ from top investors including Haun Ventures, Founders Fund, Foundation Capital, 6th Man Ventures, and Reciprocal Ventures along with angels including Anatoly Yakovenko, Raj Gokal, and Balaji Srinivasan.
Our team has previously built mission-critical infrastructure at AWS, Coinbase, Stripe, Google, and DigitalOcean.

About the Role
We ship fast. Four product launches in a single week is normal here. These launches are driven by our engineering velocity, but we don’t yet have a Marketing function that stays ahead of that pace, to make our products and features make sense to our customers.
Today, our Head of Growth owns all of Marketing. We are hiring a part-time Product Marketing Lead to take ownership of the storytelling function so they can focus on growth and user acquisition. You will own how Helius talks about its products: positioning, launch coordination, the website, blog, and our voice on socials.
About the Team
As Product Marketing Lead, you'll join our team as we enter our next phase of growth.
You'll report to our Head of Growth, who owns all of Marketing today. You'll work cross functionally with our Founders, Engineering, Product, and Revenue teams.
This role starts part-time, roughly 25 to 30 hours a week, structured as a contract with a path to full-time.
What You’ll Do:
Build and own a product launch calendar and playbook, sized by launch tier, so the team gets ahead of releases instead of scrambling to catch up. Zero missed product announcements is a relevant KPI.
Own positioning across the full product suite. Build a cohesive cross-product narrative, a clear hierarchy of who each product is for and clarify key differences across products. In doing so, drive awareness of existing and future products.
Bring a point of view on timing and packaging. Hold a launch when it should be bundled with a related release. Recommend when two products should go to market as one offering.
Own how we communicate pricing changes so customers understand what changed and why.
Tell the story to the right audience. We sell to apps and to traders, from individuals up to large institutions. Build an in-depth understanding of the audiences and tailor the narrative to each.
What You'll Bring:
7+ years in B2B product marketing, much of it spent on technical products such as developer platforms, infrastructure, or crypto. Engineers who moved into marketing fit this well
Zero-to-one experience building a product marketing function rather than inheriting one
You can read a spec, a set of docs, or a changelog and decide for yourself what matters and who needs to hear about it. You don't need to write code, but you should understand why a developer would choose gRPC over WebSockets or webhooks, and be able to explain it
A track record of running technical product launches start to finish, coordinating across teams that do not report to you. Launches involving outside partners are especially relevant
Strong writing, and specifically strong technical writing. Your launch posts should hold up with the engineers who built the product and still land with someone seeing it for the first time
You move work across teams without becoming an obstacle. You can hold Engineering and Revenue to their commitments without leaning on process or nagging
A strong point of view, backed by data. Our founders expect debate, and you should be able to hold your own and change their minds
High degree of ownership and agency, eager to take charge of projects with undefined process
Resourceful, low ego, and self-directed. You would rather start than wait to be pointed at something
Comfortable working part-time, roughly 25 to 30 hours a week, on a contract basis
You know the Solana ecosystem, or you’re ready to learn it quickly. Familiarity with RPC infrastructure, validators, and apps helps. Appetite to go deep matters more than time spent in crypto
An existing presence on X, and familiarity with how the crypto community communicates, is a plus
Additional Details
Hours: Flexible, roughly 25-30 hours a week
Compensation: $155k+ (depending on YOE/location) for full-time, prorated for part-time
Location: Remote, anywhere in the US.
Duration: Long-term for the right candidate, with the opportunity to convert to full-time
If you're excited about helping developers build the next generation of crypto applications and want to work at the center of the Solana ecosystem, we’d love to hear from you.
